Action packed day tomorrow! Here's the agenda for the #AnotherIreland is Possible conference hosted by the #Right2Change Trade Unions....

Final chance to get your tickets: https://www.eventbrite.ie/e/another-ireland-is-possible-con…

Excellent conference taking place this Saturday.

Rory Hearne who will be speaking at Saturday's conference writes:

"We live in extreme times. Extreme inequality – where the 8 richest men on the planet have th...e same wealth as half the entire global population. Here in Ireland the top 20% own half of all the wealth.

But it is also a time of extreme insecurity – a deep sense of fear and trepidation about the present moment (and the future) – how can I have some sort of decent life, or even just survive?

Be that trying to access an affordable secure home, hospital treatment or a living wage. And then there is our children – we are deeply worried about how we can ensure they have the possibility of a better now and even more importantly, a better future."

You can watch my closing statements during last night's debtate on the Motion to Establish a Commission of Investigation into the Stardust Tragedy in the below video. Unfortunately the motion was defeated today by 94 votes to 50, proving once again that we are being governed by an FF/FG coalition. I sincerely hope that the scoping review recommends a Commission of Investigation and that the Stardust Relatives' and Victims' Committee finally get justice
