Family Promise of Blount County An annual donation of $274 a year makes friends of Family Promise of Blount County a member of "Club 274". This amount supports one day of operation of the organization. The Daily Times article also explains that the organization is now operating at capacity.

Family Promise of Blount County Later this afternoon, Thursday, September 11, seven area pastors are taking turns scooping ice-cream at the Marble Slab. If you buy ice-cream from one of them, ten percent will go to Family Promise. No coupon is needed. This celebrity pastor event for Family Promise begins at five o'clock and ends at seven o'clock.

Family Promise of Blount County Executive Director, Mandy Stinnett Adkins has accepted the position of Executive Director of Alliance for Youth. She has been a volunteer with AYA, a local non-profit organization that serves orphans in Africa. A link to their website is below. She begins her new position in October.
